Stand Up to Protect Australia's Creators

We represent Australia's content, creative and entertainment sector, producing creative works and stories across screen, music, literature and the arts. We are significant contributors to Australian culture, jobs and the economy. 

The Government plans to introduce copyright laws that will benefit Australian teachers, libraries and people with disabilities. We support those changes. However, we oppose the proposed safe harbour changes which will siginificantly harm Australia's creative content community.

We call on the Government to immediately drop the safe harbour proposal and engage in meaningful consultation to achieve the scheme our creators deserve.
